Sundog Theatre Musical Theatre Kids class will present The Wind in the Willows

The Wind in the Willows is a riotous comedy of misadventures – with a soaring score and heartwarming lessons of friendship.
Written by the creators of Honk! and Downton Abbey.

Students learn:

Focus, imagination, creation, and theatre games, while rehearsing for a final performance.  A fun way to learn to work with other young people.
Students have the opportunity to develop theatre and public presentation skills as they rehearse for a production which enables them to put theory into practice and work as a team.

CLASS DATES AND INFORMATION:

February 25 – June 17, on Saturday Mornings and some Thursday evenings

At Msgr Farrell High School, 2900 Amboy Rd, Staten Island, NY 10306

Parent Comment: “We started with MTK during the pandemic. I was impressed with Mrs. Tierney’s patience and ability to keep the kids interested on the Zoom format. The shows were enjoyable but more important, my child felt a part of something special. The inclusion has continued into in-person rehearsals and shows. Sundog’s MTK class is the most warm and inclusive class, hands down. Thanks MTK for being so magical!” – Amy Morales

This class is for ages 9-17.

Melissa Tierney (Instructor)

Instructor Melissa Tierney has 20 years of experience in educational theatre with numerous credits as actor, director, and teacher for several organizations including Sundog, St. Sylvester School, PS 41, PS 38, and SeaView Playwrights.
