Sundog Fringe Presents a Double Bill: It’s a Mystery & Cabin Fever

April 17, 2025 By

Experience not one, but TWO outstanding original plays from the United Kingdom, direct from the world’s largest arts festival—Edinburgh Festival Fringe!

Written and performed by their original creators,
these critically acclaimed productions make their U.S. debut in Staten Island.

IT’S A MYSTERY!

WRITTEN AND PERFORMED BY:
TIM BENZIE
65 minute performance

The audience is summoned to the drawing room to help solve a mystery as Tim takes on the role of detective, examining clues that drew him to the genre as a child, to eventually lapping up the entire works of Agatha Christie as a teenager. Tim Benzie, acclaimed creator and host of Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote, presents his new one-man show, a hilarious and moving exploration of the enduring appeal of murder mysteries. It’s a Mystery will appeal to fans of the genre and anyone who’s ever wondered whodunnit (and why)!

“Tim Benzie’s It’s a Mystery! is a surprisingly enjoyable and intriguing murder mystery show that even published authors of the genre might find entertaining and thought-provoking.” EDINBURGH REVIEWS

“In true mystery fashion, It’s A Mystery! doesn’t just entertain with its light-hearted exploration of the genre—it also holds a carefully laid twist that speaks to something more profound.”
