Danielle Raleigh Carr is a lifelong Staten Island resident, entrepreneur, and community advocate. A proud graduate of Curtis High School and Niagara University, Danielle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality & Hotel Management, and has built her career around creating spaces that bring people together and strengthen local connections.
She is the owner of Egger’s Ice Cream Parlor, a beloved Staten Island establishment known not only for its handcrafted ice cream but also for its commitment to community engagement. Under
her leadership, Egger’s has expanded beyond a neighborhood ice cream shop into a hub for events, school partnerships, and charitable initiatives. Danielle also owns Chocolate & Balloons by Egger’s, a full-service event and décor company specializing in balloon installations, dessert tables, and celebrations of all sizes.
Danielle has been an active volunteer with Seamen’s Society for Children & Families for over ten years, supporting fundraising efforts and community initiatives that benefit children and families across Staten Island. She also works with the GRACE Foundation and is passionate about giving back to organizations that make a meaningful impact locally.
When she is not working, Danielle enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and her dog, Ruthie. She loves to travel, explore new places, and unwind with a good book.
