Pablo is a registered architect with many years of experience. Since 2010, he has co-owned his own architecture and urban planning partnership, Vengoechea & Boyland. With a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute, he also holds an M.S. in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University. In 2001, he received the Award for Excellence from the American Planning Association for Making Great Communities Happen, Site Planning Fundamentals Program, Central America and the Caribbean Region Workshops. He was also the vice chair for the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission from 1995-2013. In addition, Pablo has been a professor of urban planning at both Hunter College and Columbia University.
